I don't understand
your heart in your hand
begging her to accept you.
You should take a stand
it would be so grand
if you just let her go.
But still you persist
your whiles can't resist
the siren calls that beckon.
Follow if you must
for I do trust
the judgement that proceeds you.
But if you don't fly
I won't say goodbye
even if I should.
For you are my friend
until the bitter end
with or without your lady.

Your love is Unrequited
You waste your petals on:
'She loves me, she loves me not'
the galloping feelings
the highs and lows.
How can you love her so?
She's out of your reach
on the highest peak
and still you search
for a perch
to gaze upon her.
How can you love her so?
She's the blazing sun,
and your just a run
on the latter that separates you.
Your love, so pure
like the richest metals
but still she'd prefer
you're pots to the kettle
How can you love her so?
You should just give up
you're love's out of luck
but you keep trying,
and end up crying
How can you love her so?
'She loves me, she loves me not'
the galloping feelings
the highs and lows.
How can you love her so?
She's out of your reach
on the highest peak
and still you search
for a perch
to gaze upon her.
How can you love her so?
She's the blazing sun,
and your just a run
on the latter that separates you.
Your love, so pure
like the richest metals
but still she'd prefer
you're pots to the kettle
How can you love her so?
You should just give up
you're love's out of luck
but you keep trying,
and end up crying
How can you love her so?
